Obama takes aim at Trump in fiery speech

Former President Barack Obama criticized President Donald Trump's tenure in office in a fiery speech that took aim at him and other Republicans for "making stuff up".

Among intended recipients earlier in the week were former Vice President Joe Biden, former Attorney General Eric Holder, actor Robert De Niro and former Central Intelligence Agency director John Brennan, whose security clearance Trump revoked after Brennan lambasted Trump's Russian Federation summit performance as "nothing short of treasonous".

In addition to his efforts to aid Democrats in tough races this cycle, Obama has focused his attention on boosting voter turnout across the board, casting the first major election since the inauguration of President Trump as a critical moment in American history.

"I would like to think that everybody in America would think it's wrong to spend all your time from a position of power vilifying people, questioning their patriotism, calling them enemies of the people and then suddenly pretending that you're concerned about civility", he told a cheering crowd. "He just makes it up".

"Now the latest, they're trying to convince everybody to be afraid of a bunch of impoverished, malnourished refugees a thousand miles away", Obama said in the campaign.

President Donald Trump said Friday he has no plans to call former President Barack Obama or other individuals who were the intended targets of pipe bombs mailed this week.

Obama's visits were to urge people to vote for MI and Wisconsin's Democratic candidates.

He also mocked Trump about the Chinese spying on his mobile phone.

He said, "In the last election, it was Hillary's emails". "This is terrible"... "This is a national security crisis". His reference to "Crooked Hillary Clinton" prompted chants of "Lock her up" and a joke from the president: "Oh boy, they're going to be reporting about you tonight".
