Tamera Mowry-Housley Searches For Niece Missing In Thousand Oaks Shooting

Actress Tamera Mowry-Housley and her husband, former Fox News correspondent Adam Housley, are searching for information about their niece in the wake of a mass shooting Wednesday night in Thousand Oaks, California.

According to the Napa Valley Register, Alaina graduated from Vintage High past year, before becoming a student at Pepperdine University, where her suitemate had tweeted a photo of her earlier in the day, saying she hadn't come home from the bar. Mowry first responded to a tweet from her niece's suitemate, who said she was still missing after the shooting.

The actress and talk show host had been in contact with her niece's roommate all morning trying to find answers and see if Alaina was one of the 12 that were killed by lone suspect, 28-year-old Ian David Long, during the bar's weekly college night.

Tamera Mowry-Housley and husband Adam Housley have confirmed their niece was killed in the shooting.

"My gut is saying she's inside the bar, dead", her anxious uncle, Adam Housley, told an LA Times reporter outside the Los Robles Regional Medical Center, where he was looking for his niece.
