The vibe sounds like the Browns will have their new head coach sooner than later - stay tuned.

According to Cleveland.com's Mary Kay Cabot, Freddie Kitchens has a "good chance" of being named the Browns' next head coach. But the real difference for the Browns was what Kitchens was able to do for rookie Baker Mayfield after offensive coordinator Todd Haley was shelved the same day Jackson was.

The Cleveland Browns have apparently found their next head coach.

This left me to question, who could Kitchens possibly be thinking about to hire as his coordinators in Cleveland?

He was promoted to the Vikings OC spot from quarterbacks coach when John DeFilippo was sacked with three games to play in the season.

Most importantly, Kitchens helped to further Baker Mayfield's development.

It's a spectacular rise for Kitchens, who began the season as the team's running backs coach. Previous special teams coordinator Amos Jones and Kitchens have a long history of serving together, but it is safe to say that the city of Cleveland and Browns fans everywhere were not disappointed to see him dismissed and hope him the best as he will probably skip to Tampa Bay with Arians as well.
