R. Kelly facing criminal investigations after Lifetime documentary exposes abuse allegations

Following in the footsteps of Chance the Rapper, Lady Gaga has apologised for working with the singer; who is accused of sexual abuse by a host of women in a new docu-series, Surviving R Kelly.

"We hope that it will turn into a fruitful investigation and it will result in the return of Joycelyn Savage to her family or, at the very least, that she start opening continuous conversations and interactions with her family like she had before she met Mr. Robert Sylvester Kelly", Griggs told PEOPLE on Wednesday.

A father, who believes his daughter is being held captive by R. Kelly, says he was threatened by the singer's manager.

The Savage family has now set up a hotline along with Griggs for witnesses and victims to come forward at 678-744-3185.

Kelly has not commented on the latest allegations made in the series but his attorney said the allegations are false, calling this another round of stories.

"The recent allegations against entertainer R. Kelly in the recent Lifetime documentary series are deeply, deeply disturbing", she said.

Google Assistant closes in on a massive milestone
The now two-year-old assistant was first announced in May of 2016, a clear response to Amazon's Alexa which was released in 2014. The older Samsung TVs are also expected to get Alexa or Google Assistant support soon once the newer TVs are launched.

R. Kelly may now be under criminal investigation for sexual abuse, but that did not stop him from publically celebrating his 52nd birthday, and it certainly did not stop him from shadily addressing the controversy.

The Cook County, Illinois, State's Attorney Kim Foxx is seeking to talk to any victims of sexual assault or domestic violence similar to the accounts several women revealed in "Surviving R. Kelly". But there is no arrest warrant for Kelly and no criminal investigation into him by Chicago authorities, police said. Chicago PD, of course, sprang into action after receiving the call and went to the club to make contact with Kelly. The report doesn't say what the relationship between Mason and Kelly is. In the police report, Timothy said Mason stated, "I'm gonna do harm to you and your family when I see you I'm gonna get you, I'm going to f***ing kill you."⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀.

The case was presented to a Magistrate Judge who issued a warrant in July, citing "terroristic threats and acts". The Henry County Sheriff's Office said no one by that name has been arrested since the warrant was issued previous year.

In 2008, a Cook County jury found Kelly not guilty on 14 counts of child pornography charges.

Kelly has two weeks to pay up the $80,000 he owes for the property on the west side of Chicago.
