Ariana Grande hits back at Grammys producer: 'You're lying about me'

Ariana Grande hits back at Grammys producer: 'You're lying about me'

It all started with Ehrlich releasing a statement via Associated Press that claimed Ariana simply "felt like it was too late for her to pull something together" in the month that they discussed her possible performance.

In the clip, which she's been teasing for the last 24 hours, Grande faces off against her double at the club and at a party, and her double is dating Riverdale's Charles Melton. "And it's too bad".

When Ehrlich's interview was released, Grande took to Twitter to call the producer out for spreading false information.

Just two days before the Grammys, Ariana is all set to release her brand new single from the "Thank U, Next" album. "I can pull a performance over night and you know that, Ken", Grande wrote.

She went on to defend herself through a series of tweets.

"I offered three different songs".

However amid her romance woes, Ariana's latest album reached the top spot on iTunes in just five minutes.

Despite her absence, there will be a slew of artists taking the Grammys stage, including Camila Cabello, Cardi B, Janelle Monáe, Post Malone, Dan + Shay, Kacey Musgraves and Shawn Mendes. "It's like I'm the universe and you'll be N-A-S-A", she sings in the pre-chorus.

"I can pull a performance overnight and you know that, Ken". "It was when my creativity [and] self-expression was stifled by you, that I decided not to attend".

The "Thank U, Next" singer is nominated for two Grammys and was tapped to perform Sunday, but a report this week claimed she backed out after a disagreement with producers and will no longer attend the show.

"Hope that helps everyone understand my decision".

Earlier this week, Grande cancelled her scheduled performance at the Grammys this weekend, reportedly because producers' didn't want her to perform '7 rings'.

The ceremony takes place this Sunday night, February 10.
