Tucker Carlson refuses to apologize for misogynistic remarks

On Sunday, progressive media watchdog group Media Matters released a video montage with clips of Tucker Carlson's radio appearances where he made a number of "naughty" remarks about an array of topics, including rape and the Warren Jeffs' case.

Tucker Carlson responded Sunday night to the discovery of controversial and off-color comments he made during conversations with a radio "shock jock" between 2006 and 2011, urging people who wanted to know more about what he thought to watch his primetime program on Fox News Channel. Instead, he invited anyone who disagrees with his views as expressed these days on TV to come challenge him on Tucker Carlson Tonight. In the segments, Carlson suggested underage marriage is not as serious as forcible child rape, called rape shield laws "totally unfair" and once said he would "love" a scenario involving young girls sexually experimenting.

"If you're talking to a feminist", he said, "and she's given you, 'Well, men really need to be more sensitive, ' no, actually, men don't need to be more sensitive". He defends assault on children, makes countless misogynistic claims, and shows he's complete disregard for an entire gender. He's like got some weird religious call where he thinks it's okay to, you know, marry underage girls, but he didn't do it.

CO-HOST: No, he's in prison for facilitation of child rape.

Bubba Appearances Haunting Carlson

Rightwing talkbag Tucker Carlson has spent his long career - and he's far older than his "preppie villain in a National Lampoon's comedy" vibe suggests - making shocking and some might say awful comments, always without serious repercussions. Sorry. Now I'm just telling I'm to raise your marriage between the 16 year old and a 27 year old is not the same as telling a stranger off the street and rapier. "I don't understand why, if you're an adult, you just can't get up and say, 'This is what the person did to me'". "Well, this could be awkward: Fox News is supposed to host event for biggest advertisers and media buyers at their headquarters this week", he tweeted.

Between 2006 and 2011, Carlson reportedly called into the "Bubba The Love Sponge" show for about an hour each week. Do you believe what he has said in the past is relevant for today? Tucker thinks that's a shame. What do you mean in accessory?

Carlson also says that women are "extremely primitive" and enjoy being told to "be quiet and kind of do what you're told". "Remember, even the most honest apology means nothing to them".
